We are blessed at Coots to be surrounded by some of the most incredible countryside. Living in the Churnet Valley our dachshunds enjoy the benefits of exploring daily in the moorland and paddling in the brooks and rivers. We know how important this is providing them with enrichment and essential exercise. We also know that for everyone, it is not possible for their dogs to have the same freedom and enjoy the same benefits. That why we will be opening our own Sensory Dog Park here in Dimmingsdale, to share with others the beauty of the Valley and the benefits of being able to let your dog ‘off lead’ and explore.
Nestled in the woodland ‘The Rock’ is a fully secure, 5 acre space of hilly open grassland, that you can hire for your dog exclusively or share with other dog friends for a minimum of 30 minutes or upto a couple of hours. Here you can know your dog is safe while he/she explores freely. Activities will include water, climbing, tunnels, and sand. Often these are new experiences that offer great enrichment to your dog.
