On Friday, 6 February 2026, we had the profound privilege of welcoming Xavi “home” from Bulgaria to Northern Ireland.

Despite his considerable success within the show arena, Marina possessed the insight and sensitivity to recognise that Xavi’s deepest fulfilment lay not in accolades, but in the quieter, enduring comforts of family life — warmth, companionship, security, and belonging.

Accordingly, the process of identifying his future home was undertaken with exceptional diligence and integrity. It was rigorous without ever becoming intrusive, discerning without being judgemental, and always governed by a single, unwavering principle: that Xavi’s welfare must remain paramount.

From the earliest conversations, conducted via telephone and video, through to the careful provision of guidance, reassurance, and practical support, every interaction reflected professionalism of the highest order. No request was treated as insignificant; no concern was dismissed. At every stage, there was a clear commitment to ensuring that this transition was not merely successful, but exemplary.

Coots coordinated Xavi’s journey with remarkable precision, arranging his travel from Bulgaria to Bucharest and onward to Dublin, where he was personally accompanied by the outstanding Liz. Throughout the extended journey, she provided regular, thoughtful updates, offering continual reassurance and demonstrating a level of care that went far beyond obligation.

Our reception at Dublin Airport was both warm and impeccably organised. All documentation, provisions, and arrangements had been prepared with meticulous attention to detail, enabling a seamless and stress-free transition.

Xavi is now fully settled within our home. He shares his bed with his Chihuahua companion, delights in an abundance of toys, and spends his evenings contentedly by the fire — a life of comfort, stability, and affection.

This experience was never a commercial transaction. It was, instead, a profoundly humane and emotionally intelligent process, rooted in an owner’s ethical responsibility to act in accordance with both knowledge and compassion. It stands as a testament to what responsible, principled breeding and placement should represent.

We extend our sincere and enduring gratitude to Marina, Liz, and Coots at Eversden for their exemplary professionalism, integrity, and humanity. Xavi could not have been entrusted to more conscientious hands. We look forward to maintaining contact and sharing his continued progress through photographs, messages, and memories.

She’s amazing, beautiful, all was okay when I went to pick her up, she’s healthy, happy.

From the start Kate, Marina and ultimately Robert who travelled with Willow from Bulgaria all the way to Naples, Florida made this a dream like experience.
I searched high and low on the internet even thru the AKC and never felt like I could trust the breeder.
Then a miracle… Coots at Eversden and ultimately our little sausage Willow!!
Willow is not our first dog, and our previous dogs came from a well-known not to say highly respected judge and breeder of Labs.
From the very first Whatsapp messages with Kate I knew our next dog was going to come from her and Coots. She made me feel like I had known her for a long time, like we were personal friends and communicated very effectively the fact that those little sausages were not just a business but more a way of life and more importantly a lifelong passion.
Let me add that my wife connected with Kate just the same way I did and even though we were a little worried about the prospect of having our Willow fly halfway around the world with a total stranger we knew we could once again trust Kate and let her organize this like she has done many times.
Conclusion of all this?
We are living the dream and I am repeating myself because we have to pinch ourselves every morning when we wake up and are greeted by Willow!!
Robert who flew with Willow is an angel and we would trust him again no questions asked. He is passionate about what he does and loves those little dogs.

Willow is truly stunning, sweet, loving, smart and the best thing that has happened to us in many years.

Receiving our dog, Yoda, from CAE has been a truly special experience from start to finish. The weekly updates were incredibly precious and made us feel connected every step of the way, right up until he was carefully transported to the UK to join our family.
Yoda has the most wonderful temperament and nature, a real testament to the love, care, and dedication that goes into raising these dogs. Kate and Marina took the time to truly understand us and matched us perfectly, especially considering our previous dog, Mattie, who was also from CAE. It genuinely feels like a match made in heaven.
Kate goes above and beyond what you would expect from a ‘breeder’. Her support has been unwavering — always attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, answering every question with patience and offering guidance without any judgment. CAE is not just about breeding exceptional dogs, but about building lifelong relationships and ensuring each dog is placed with the right family. We are deeply grateful for the care, commitment and heart behind everything they do.

We knew homing a CAE pup was going to be special but my gosh, Sonny is the gentlest, sweetest and loving sausage. I knew when we saw his parents that he was going to grow to be a stunning pup, but his temperament with our children and fun loving nature is just a beautiful sight. He has us cooing over him daily and provides us with such love and laughs. His shiny coat, ears of dreams and slender muzzle are a testament to his sublime breeding.
