We are a united Coots at Eversden family, spread across two countries yet connected by our shared passion. Our commitment is to breed dachshunds of the highest standard without compromise. Every puppy is raised with care and love, ensuring they are well-socialised and fully prepared for their new homes. With over 50 years of combined experience, our team is made up of dedicated and qualified Dachshund specialists.
Marina and Andy, a dedicated husband-and-wife duo, manage our Bulgarian facility on a daily basis. Passionate about showcasing talent, Marina leads our International Show team, travelling to Championship Shows throughout Europe. She is highly regarded by industry experts for her remarkable success in producing and presenting dachshunds to exceptional standards. Supporting Marina are Liz and Hrisi, both of whom are highly skilled professional dog handlers and certified show judges in their own right.
Andy, along with his team members, is dedicated to the care of all the dogs. They prioritise the socialisation and preparation of puppies as they transition to their new families. Every dog and puppy enjoys outstanding 5-star amenities at our exclusive 12,000 square foot facility, meticulously designed for their comfort. The expansive outdoor green exercise areas are a favourite among our Dachshunds.
In the UK, located in The Churnet Valley, Kate and her team manage our UK facility. Puppies born here usually stay in the UK with their forever families after completing their specialisation program. Similar to Bulgaria, both the dogs and puppies enjoy luxurious five-star accommodations, including over 15 acres of woodland for the dachshunds to enjoy.
Both of our kennels follow the same routines and socialisation programme, ensuring every puppy receives the best start in life. Together, we remain dedicated to raising happy, healthy Dachshunds ready to thrive in their new homes.
Dedicated Training Program
This program focuses on essential skills, including basic commands, house training, and social behaviours, all designed to help our puppies settle smoothly into their new homes.
Socialisation Opportunities
We organise regular playdates and interactions with other dogs, allowing our puppies to develop important social skills. These experiences are essential for building confidence and encouraging healthy relationships with both people and other animals as they grow.
Health and Wellness
Marina takes care of midwifery and healthcare for our dogs in Bulgaria, while Kate fulfils the same essential role in the UK. Every dog receives regular health check-ups, vaccinations, and balanced, nutritious meals to keep them happy and healthy. We work closely with our trusted vets—Madlen in Bulgaria and Hannah and Matt in the UK—to ensure every puppy’s medical needs are met. This includes adhering to the specific health requirements of the country they’ll be travelling to and living in with their new families.
Enrichment Activities
To keep their minds active and happy, we include a range of enrichment activities in their daily routine. These activities, from puzzle toys to sensory exploration games, provide plenty of mental stimulation and ensure our Sausages stay active and happy.
Family Involvement
We love involving future families in the journey of preparing their new puppy. Weekly video updates help build a special bond between the puppies and their families, strengthening the connection before the exciting “Gotcha” day arrives.
Lifetime Support
Additionally, Kate manages all customer communications. Regardless of your location in the world, she will serve as your main point of contact, assisting you in choosing the perfect new family member and offering guidance and support before and after their arrival.
