It’s been one week since we’ve welcomed to Wilhelm into our busy family and right from the beginning he has been such a joy. He is confident, clever, and so sweet. Marina and the team did such a wonderful job socialising him, as well as teaching him the basics like how to walk on a lead and the general concept of potty training (the latter two are so essential). As someone who has had dogs their entire life, I will admit I was a little bit nervous about not having met the mother or puppy in person, but now know that doing it this way was actually so much better. Choosing a dog in the traditional way where you go meet the mother a d choose the puppy, you’re seeing the dogs for a very brief moment in the grand scheme of things in the environment that that particular breeder wants you to see the dog in. The way that Coots at eversden works is actually far better because you get weekly video updates on your puppy, you get to know them and learn about their personality and hear what they’re up to what they’re doing with the staff that week. You’ll learn what they like and don’t like, how the staff are encouraging them in certain areas etc. It’s so much more informative than choosing a puppy and then waiting until they’re old enough to take them home. I highly recommend the Coots at eversden team and we could not be more delighted with our dachshund.
